Mostly conversation. We'll talk about what brought you here, what you'd like to be different, and a bit of background that helps me understand your story. You're never required to share more than you're ready to share, and we'll end by talking about what a helpful next step might look like.

How long are counseling sessions?

Individual sessions are typically 50 minutes. Couples and family sessions may run slightly longer, and group meetings follow their own schedule. Session length is confirmed with you when we begin.

Do you offer virtual counseling?

Yes. Secure video sessions are available and work well for many clients, especially when travel, caregiving, or a full schedule makes in-person appointments difficult. We can also combine in-person and virtual sessions as your needs change.

Do you offer Christian counseling?

Yes, for clients who want it. Faith can be integrated into our work through prayer, Scripture, or conversations about grace, forgiveness, hope, and purpose — always at your invitation and in a way that fits your beliefs.

Do I have to be a Christian to receive counseling?

Not at all. Clients of every background, tradition, and season of doubt are genuinely welcome. If faith is not part of what you want, it will not be part of our sessions. Your values and goals lead the way.

How often will we meet?

Many people begin weekly, which helps build momentum and trust. As things steady, sessions often move to every other week or monthly. We decide together, based on what's actually helping.

Yes. What you share in session is protected and treated with great care. There are a few narrow legal and ethical exceptions — such as concerns about immediate safety or situations where disclosure is required by law — and these will be explained clearly in writing before we begin.
